There Is a Face on MarsI am revisiting an earlier work, Face on Mars. The real life story of Hannah Upp has changed since I created the first piece in 2009. Her story no longer has a safe ending. I wanted to use different techniques and imagery. It’s a story bigger than one person’s disappearance; I feel like it represents the unknowable pain of others.
